SAI
BABA SALUTES HIS OWN GOLDEN STATUE
"Do not waste money on pomp and show" (Sathya
Sai Speaks, Vol. 3, p. 228)
"Pompous and extravagant ceremonies that are designed
to attract the attention of others have ruined the fair name of Indian
spirituality" (Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol 13, p. 239)
The August 2002 issue of Sanathana Sarathi has the photo below
of Sathya Sai Baba admiring a statue of himself, after being unveiled
by him - looking very smug i.e. (what devotees should call 'blissful')
in the Kulwant Hall during Guru Purnima. What glitter and pomp, what hypocrisy
when he has repeated railed against show, pomp and tinsel in his discourses!
Also, Sanathana writes:"Bhagavan Baba unveiled this breathtakingly beautiful statue at 6.55 a.m. amidst a thunderous applause of a mammoth gathering of devotees." How typically vulgar, unveiling a statue of oneself! But admittedly less vulgar than what is reported by victims his 'unveilings' of a hidden nature and 'breathtaking' homosexual interferences, advances or abuse in the private interview room.
This statue has previously been reported to be 'golden' by ever-exaggerating devotees! (The exclusive brothers and sisters should know not to fall for the golden calf, one would think!) Sanathana Sarathi reported it as a "bronze statue weighing 160 kgs.and a "life-sized statue" - but the photo seems to belies this, making the statue visibly taller than Sathya Sai Baba .
ALL
THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD:
What statement
does all this self-enhancement and advertisement make other than "Sai Baba
is the biggest and best!"? I have been informed too that there is already
a huge statue of Baba in the Hillview Stadium, (bigger than that of Jesus),
erected for the 75th birthday? Why is he so keen to set himself (up) in
concrete, at such great expense, in a country where people starve etc.
etc.?
Besides the endless bla, bla, bla about his same worn-out, over-cooked
and simplistically-stated themes that do not even deserve comment (sacred
atoms, divine will upholding the planets, Hiranyakashipu, prayers of devotees
etc.), Sathya Sai Baba continues to brazen it out with the same talk as
follows:
"Some people blame me for their own defects. It is a great mistake. There are no defects in Me whatsoever. I am the embodiment of sacredness and purity. There is no scope for even a trace of impurity in Me. You see the reflection of your own feelings in Me as you see your reflection in a clean mirror."
This is a deceptively clever and successful ploy with his followers. Nothing he does can be questioned, or even attributed to him, because it is not him... it is always you! Does he not even exist, then? Well, with such despicable falsity he tries even to beguile those who have enough self-confidence and self-respect left to know what they actually observe and that what he says and does is not all merely in their own minds! Well, if it were so, then one must also accept that everything else - not least the apparently good that seems to come from Sathya Sai Baba , would also inevitably come exclusively from one's own mind, NOT from him. There is a simple truth that says, 'you can't have your cake AND eat it'. But Sathya Sai Baba wants to! All that glitters is not gold, so he tries to blind people through brazen lies! The stones he calls diamonds and gives to people (who are likely to donate money) have been proven to be cheap synthetic stones with silver foil behind them to make them reflect better. What a fraud he is!
Apropos the more and more well-substantiated allegations and evidence of massive sexual interference and abuse of minors by Sathya Sai Baba received by those who are still investigating, a friend just wrote the following to me: "I'm still not into blaming. Maybe it's a learning lesson for how people how they blind themselves when believing a guru for 100% and following his rules and guidelines, ignoring their own wisdom from within, ignoring signals that some things seem illogical or unpleasant to follow."
