Robert Crichton Priddy PhD. (aka just Robert Priddy): Born 1936 - Cirencester, England. Resident in Norway since 1959. Retired - researched in the sociology of knowledge at The Institute of Social Studies, Oslo, Norway. Researched, lectured and examined in philosophy 1968-85 (Institute of Philosophy & Examen Philosophicum) and sociology 1970-76 (Institute of Psychology) at the University of Oslo, Norway and as guest lecturer in Scandinavia.

I was fairly active in free-lance journalism (having firstly learned techniques as a shipping journalist assistant editor in the City of London (at The Syren and Shipping Illustrated during 1957-1958) , social science, philosophical, psychological/psychiatric and social-political debate in Norway in the mid-1960s and thereafter.
